With a background in administration and executive search, Turzo leverages his strategic, organizational and team building know how to facilitate high caliber leadership transitions and executive team transformations.

Turzo's background includes several years in the high tech sector as a sales rep and, most recently, as an early investor, fundraiser and collaborative inventor at a VC funded, disruptive technology, computer display and UI company. His executive recruiting background started in 1999 at Raymond International, where he built the top performing practice in the business, placing senior financial and general management candidates in the subsidiaries of European and US multinationals. Turzo holds a BA in American Studies from the University of California and a Masters in Education from the Claremont Graduate University.

Outside his work at Goodwyn/Powell, Turzo sits on the Board of the Institute for Social Renewal, an educational think tank and funding non-profit. He acts in local theater productions, is a founding member of the Dojo Men's Association and enjoys anything to do with nature, culture, movement or family/friends. He resides in California with his wife Tasha, and two daughters, Michaela and Ariela.

Gabe Rosen, Managing Partner

Managing Partner Gabe Rosen oversees Goodwyn/Powell's local operations, positioning the firm as an unmatched resource for exceptional companies and candidates. With his strong local ties and extensive background in research and recruiting, Rosen identifies the individuals required to catapult early-stage companies into prestige and primacy.

Rosen's recruiting talents were first honed at Stanford University, where he led outreach campaigns to attract transfer student admits and headed recruiting for the school's club kayaking team, with whom he won two national titles. Bachelor's and master's degrees in English laid the foundation for excellent written communications and disciplined research. Summers working as a paralegal and private investigator provided a unique understanding of client management and the demands of conducting intensive interviews and sensitive discussions with the strictest confidentiality.

Following the completion of his master's degree, Rosen joined Goodwyn/Powell in 2005, and was named a full partner after a brief and successful stint as a researcher. While partnering with Information Technology companies, he realized the need for recruiters more intimately connected to Silicon Valley's next wave of talent, which included numerous classmates. Rosen was invited to join Goodwyn/Powell in 2005, and was named a full partner after a brief and successful stint as a researcher.

Outside of his work at Goodwyn/Powell, Rosen volunteers as an outdoor education instructor and enjoys SCUBA diving, and open water swimming. He is a member of the Society of Buckeye, an organization dedicated to bipartisanship and conflict resolution.

Peterson Conway, Founder

Founder Peterson Conway is currently focusing the majority of his energies on building his new start up bio-diesel refining and marketing firm, Renewable Fuel Products, Inc., but is a resource to the firm in the areas of “clean tech”, “clean energy” and international executive placement.  As a former business development consultant for Greenfuel Technologies and with a background in international finance and executive search, Conway is uniquely qualified to identify exceptional candidates in “clean tech” management and international finance.

Having visited over 110 countries, Conway offers a keen understanding of doing business in a range of cultures.  Dual degrees from Dartmouth College in philosophy and economics led to work as a finance broker in Argentina for Interacciones S.A., Mexico’s largest investment bank.  Following his work in Latin America, Conway joined Robert Half International, establishing himself as the company’s number three recruiter. Later work for Raymond International, the specialized global executive search firm, honed his talents as a worldwide recruiter specializing in senior finance searches for multinational corporations and foreign subsidiaries of publicly traded companies.  An early bio-diesel adopter, Conway has in recent years focused increasingly on the emerging “clean tech” sector.

In addition to his native English, Conway speaks fluent Spanish and French. Outside of his work at Goodwyn/Powell, Conway flies small aircraft and swims chilly ocean waters on a daily basis.  He resides in California with his wife Wendy, daughter Arabie and their dogs, Shams & Kayla.
