Gabe Rosen, Managing Partner

Managing Partner Gabe Rosen oversees Goodwyn/Powell's local operations, positioning the firm as an unmatched resource for exceptional companies and candidates. With his strong local ties and extensive background in research and recruiting, Rosen identifies the individuals required to catapult early-stage companies into prestige and primacy.

Rosen's recruiting talents were first honed at Stanford University, where he led outreach campaigns to attract transfer student admits and headed recruiting for the school's club kayaking team, with whom he won two national titles. Bachelor's and master's degrees in English laid the foundation for excellent written communications and disciplined research. Summers working as a paralegal and private investigator provided a unique understanding of client management and the demands of conducting intensive interviews and sensitive discussions with the strictest confidentiality.

Following the completion of his master's degree, Rosen joined Goodwyn/Powell in 2005, and was named a full partner after a brief and successful stint as a researcher. While partnering with Information Technology companies, he realized the need for recruiters more intimately connected to Silicon Valley's next wave of talent, which included numerous classmates. Rosen was invited to join Goodwyn/Powell in 2005, and was named a full partner after a brief and successful stint as a researcher.

Outside of his work at Goodwyn/Powell, Rosen volunteers as an outdoor education instructor and enjoys SCUBA diving, and open water swimming. He is a member of the Society of Buckeye, an organization dedicated to bipartisanship and conflict resolution.
