About Us > The Search Process
The Goodwyn/Powell methodology was developed over thirty years ago by a mentor whose vision identified the coming global economy and created a search method to address it. This time-tested approach was passed on to our partners and has been developed and modernized to meet current market needs. At Goodwyn/Powell, “boutique” means a custom, personalized approach to every assignment we take on. We guarantee partner-level participation across the entire process, from initial client contact, through candidate screening to offer and acceptance. Clients can always count on a focused, collaborative, informed, and accessible team. A commitment to regular dialog with our clients and candidates helps to ensure that all searches move steadily toward a successful conclusion.
The Goodwyn/Powell search process is defined below, with each phase’s unique challenges and clear execution critical to overall success. Because there is no such thing as a standard client, we pride ourselves on customizing the process to meet specific needs.
