Peterson Conway:

Since 2003 Conway has worked on the founding teams of companies related to Peter Thiel (Facebook, PayPal). Conway transitioned his early background in finance to representing international, rock star finance executives and later helped start Xoom.com--an online financial services company now funded by Sequoia, NEA and Stanford.

Conway loves ambitious people but lives a much simpler life now, enjoying his new daughter with his wife Wendy on their small farm in Carmel. He still flies up to Palo Alto regularly in his small plane to help a very talented company of Thiel's master the organization and analysis of the World's information.  But usually you'll find him taking calls while working in his vegetable garden or cleaning the chicken coop. Conway holds a BA from Dartmouth.

Chris Turzo:

Turzo has represented some of the world’s top leaders across Europe & the Middle East, The United States, Latin America and Asia. Turzo is the workhorse of the firm, having built new practices in clean technology, European finance and general management from scratch.  He is an active seed investor in Silicon Valley start-ups, a member of several boards and a passionate team builder. 

He resides in Santa Cruz with his wife Tasha (a family physician) and their or daughters, Michaela and Ariela.Turzo holds a BA from the University of California and an MA from Claremont Graduate University.

Gabe Rosen:

Partner "Emeritus" since 2003, he is now embedded with our principal client. Rosen holds a BA, MA from Stanford University.

Faith McCoy-Scriven:

Following her husband's move to California to join Palantir Technologies, Faith McCoy-Scriven was recruited to Goodwyn/Powell to help support the firm's rapidly expanding engagement with the client. Scriven has been most celebrated, however, as a classical pianist starting with a debut at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (at the age of 14), later with a solo recital at Carnegie Hall in 2008 and even as a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show. She is also a talented fundraiser towards her varied non-profit interests and is a highly appreciated teacher in the local Palo Alto community. Scriven holds a Masters from The Manhattan School of Music.

Jon Underwood:

Underwood supports partner Chris Turzo's core passion working with early-stage clean technology companies. Together, they have identified and placed highly specialized people in front-runner solar, wind, and biomass companies. In his past, Underwood founded a VC backed start-up in the payments industry, and held a seat on the Pacific Stock Exchange as a derivatives trader. He lives with his wife Carrie in the redwoods on a creek about three miles form the beach in Santa Cruz, California. Underwood holds a BA in Economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Marylhurst with a focus in sustainable business.

Chitra Bheeman:

Chitra is an entrepreneur at heart and has worked in fields as disparate as Sales, Finance and Technical Staffing over the last two decades. She founded an IT staffing firm back in the late 90's that helped staff numerous start ups as well as companies as big as Oracle, Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks. Most recently she was a staffing consultant with Google while also playing an active role in running a Moving and Storage company she started with her husband. Chitra attended Bharatiyar University in India.

Eric Graham:

A University of Colorado grad and wisdom seeker, Eric and Peterson are challenging the firm's reputation for big hair. For a decade (and when he had hair) Eric implemented web/tech projects in the Valley and was a star project lead at Wells Fargo. But his real passion is bopping around the Sierras and exploring the real truth of our existence. Our resident Buddha. Eric's question of the day: are top leaders actually buddhas in disguise?

Keir Myers and Mike Scheuer:

Keir and Mike have known each other since college (Colorado College). Last winter they scratched the gig at the investment bank and sold their retail company to move back to California to pursue new opportunities. GP's founder Conway tapped them to come build new products in the $400 billion search sector. They are now working on various challenges related to the "Intelligent Search For Life."
